Hidden Chamber uses account and gameplay data to run the game, save progress, support players, protect online matches, and manage subscriptions. We do not currently show third-party ads, send behavioral data to ad networks, use a behavioral-analytics SDK, or run price A/B tests or individualized pricing.
Information the game uses
- Account information: your email address, authentication and account identifiers, and any display name or avatar you choose. Supabase Auth handles sign-in and password recovery.
- Game information: saved progress, selected cosmetics, match actions and outcomes, ratings, callsigns, challenge results, and limited replay/history records. This is needed to save your game, resume matches, run leaderboards, and prevent abuse.
- Support and safety reports: the category, subject, message, and status of support requests; and the reason and optional details of player reports. Do not include passwords or payment-card details in these messages.
- Subscription information: subscription status, entitlement, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. The current web flow sends customers to Stripe-hosted Checkout; Hidden Chamber does not provide a form for, or store, full payment-card numbers.
- Technical request information: our hosting and service providers may receive connection details such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, and request diagnostics when your browser loads the site or uses an online feature. Their own privacy and retention terms also apply.
What is visible to other players
Public challenge and ranked boards show a chosen callsign and game results such as score or rating. An opponent may see your chosen display name during an online match. Your account email and internal account ID are not intended to appear on public leaderboards.
Where information is stored or processed
- Your browser: local game progress and temporary resume information are stored in browser storage. Local progress remains until you clear this through your browser’s site-data controls; clearing it can remove unsynced progress.
- Supabase: account, profile, game, match, support, and related service records are stored or processed by the app’s backend.
- Vercel: serves the web application and may process operational request and security logs.
- Stripe: processes subscription checkout and billing. Stripe handles payment information entered in its hosted checkout and may retain billing records under its own terms and legal obligations.
- Browser asset providers: the current site loads its JavaScript client from jsDelivr and fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to those providers when loading the relevant resources.
Retention and account requests
Account-linked records are used while your account is active. The current database is designed to cascade-delete most linked profile, match, leaderboard, support, and report rows when an account is deleted. There is not yet a self-service account-deletion control; contact support@hiddenchamber.app to request account access or deletion. Some billing records, security records, and provider backups may require separate handling or remain for a limited time under legal or operational requirements. We are reviewing the exact schedule before this notice is finalized.

Your choices and questions
You can sign out, change your display name and avatar, and clear local browser data. For a privacy request or question, email support@hiddenchamber.app. Privacy rights and response requirements depend on where you live; the operator must confirm the regions served and add any required local instructions before launch.
Children and policy updates
The service’s minimum-age policy has not yet been approved. That policy and any requirements for younger players must be settled before launch. We will date future changes to this notice and explain material changes before they take effect.
